This song is all about how you need to be your best friend first. How when u’ve been left all alone and have no one to share with, u need to find that your best friend is probably you, urself. This is more or less summed up by the line, “If there’s one guy, just one guy, who’d lay down his life for you and die“. Cause there’s just no one else who would do that. There’s only one person who will stand by you when all others have left u alone, one person who’ll let u speak up and not judge you. And that person is you. So this is a message to love yourself cause you’re the only person who’ll always be there for urself.
